Mt. Zion United Church and a few graves.

The left gravestone, above, is that of Richard PETHERAM and his first wife, Eliza BAKER. The picture was taken in July of 2001 at the back of Mt. Zion United Church Cemetery. This cemetery is very small, out in the country. A very nice Country Club is across the street with beautiful rolling greens for golfers. The Church and cemetery is on a corner, and next to the church is a target range. Possibly for bow hunters? I noticed fruit orchards as I drove around in this area in Renton, Ontario, Canada.

Richard PETHERAM born 11 Jan 1815, Lympsham, Somerset Co., England. Died 12 Jan 1888, Norfolk County, Ontario, CANADA.

Elizabeth "Betsey" BAKER, born 28 Sep 1811, Somerset Co., England. Died 31 Mar 1864, Norfolk County, Ontario, CANADA.

Both buried: Mt. Zion Cemetery, near Renton, Norfolk County, Ontario, CANADA

Richard and Eliza were married in 1836, in England.
